Occupation Health & Safety Policy

It is the policy of Arit of Africa to do everything reasonably practicable to prevent personal injury, ill health, damage to property and the environment including clients and the general public, to the extent of their contact with Arit of Africa, its products
and services.

Arit of Africa is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment at all premises with compliance with legal and other requirements that the organization subscribe to.

Arit of Africa will periodically review its Occupational Health and  Safety Management System to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate to the organization. Arit of Africa will ensure that these risks are controlled to as low as reasonably practicable and this will be used as a framework for setting and reviewing Arit of Africa’s Health, Safety and Environmental Objectives.

Arit of Africa will provide information, training and supervision for employees to ensure safe and efficient performance in all areas of our business and all aspects of an employee’s duties. Ensure availability and familiarization of all necessary safety devices, protective equipment and clothing. Further, to supervise their use to ensure continual adherence and compatibility to this policy.

Arit of Africa will maintain a constant and continuing interest in all aspects of health, safety and environmental matters applicable to Arit of Africa and client’s activities; and to consult, listen and respond openly to employees, customers, neighbours and interested groups that work with us.

It is expected of each and every employee to work in a safe and efficient manner, with special regard for others within the vicinity of their working area.

Employees shall report all incidences that have occurred or may lead to injury or damage, also to assist in any investigation so that steps may be taken to prevent recurrence.

The HSE Coordinator has been assigned both the authority and responsibility to ensure that this policy is understood, implemented and maintained throughout the organization.
