Edeki Bakare

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Edeki Bakare has over 18 years’ experience across key sectors of the Nigeria economy, including Banking, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Supply Chain Management/Logistics where he deployed technology to drive process optimazion and business transformation.

Between 2010 and 2019, he held strategic positions as Head of Finance, Group Chief Accountant and Chief Financial Officer with various firms across different sectors before he was appointed Managing Director/CEO of Personal Trust Microfinance Bank Limited in March 2019, a position he held till May 2024.

He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and holds Associate membership of both the Chartered institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and the Chartered Institute of Economists (ICEN).

He holds a first degree in Accountancy from the University of Benin, an M. Sc in Accounting from the University of Lagos and an MBA in Financial management from the National Open university of Nigeria (NOUN).
